Welcome to Slack Tide Rentals! By booking our beach chair and umbrella rental services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before making a reservation.

### 1. Reservations & Payments
– Reservations can be made online, via email, or by phone.
– Payment is due on the first day of service. We accept cash (cash discount available), Venmo, and online payments.
– To receive the cash discount, please call us directly to book.
– Online reservations are accepted up to 3 days before service begins. Same-day bookings must be made by phone and are subject to availability.
– During peak season (June–August), we recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure availability.
– Any booking over $600 will require a partial deposit. If canceling not due to weather, you must cancel within a week before service or forfeit the deposit.

### 2. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your reservation, refunds are based on how many days remain before your scheduled service. Please refer to the details below:
– If Slack Tide Rentals cancels your reservation, you will have the option to:
1️⃣ Receive a full refund (minus the credit card processing fee if paid online).
2️⃣ Reschedule for another available date.
3️⃣ Receive a credit for future use.
– For bookings over $600, a partial deposit is required. If canceling not due to weather, you must cancel within a week before service or forfeit the deposit.
– If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible.

### 3. Weather Policy
Slack Tide Rentals closely monitors weather conditions to determine if service can be provided safely.

– High Wind Policy:
– If winds reach 15+ mph at setup time, we will not open umbrellas for safety reasons.
– If winds increase to 15+ mph during the day, we will message you and request that you lower the umbrellas.
– If winds reach 20+ mph, we will not set up for the day, and you will receive a credit for that day.

– Rain Policy:
– Short rain showers are common in Florida and do not automatically cancel service.
– If an all-day rain event is forecasted, you may request a refund for that day, but you must notify us the day before service.
– If service has already been set up for the day and it begins to rain, you will still be charged for that day’s rental.

### 4. Service & Setup
– Rentals are available on St. George Island, including the Plantation.
– We do not provide service inside St. George Island State Park but can arrange an alternative location.
– Guests must provide their rental address and indicate whether the property is Gulf-front:
– If Gulf-front, your setup will be placed directly in front of your rental.
– If not Gulf-front, you may specify a preferred beach access point, or we will select the closest one.
– Setups are ready by 10 AM and takedown begins as early as 6 PM.
– On the first day of service, we will:
✔ Take a photo of your setup
✔ Send you a text notification once it’s ready.
– If you need to add extra chairs or umbrellas after booking, contact us via phone or text, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

### 5. Customer Responsibilities & Liability
– Guests are responsible for taking care of rental equipment during their reservation period.
– Do not move chairs or umbrellas outside of the designated setup area.
– If an umbrella needs to be lowered due to high winds, please do so promptly when notified.
– Guests are liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment during their rental period and may be charged for replacements if necessary.
– Slack Tide Rentals is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or personal property damage while using our rental equipment.

### 6. Tipping Policy
Tipping is not required, but if you feel our crew has provided exceptional service, it is always appreciated. We work hard to ensure a seamless and enjoyable beach experience for you.
